Class Description
Explore the beauty of flowers through watercolor in this painting workshop focused on summer florals. Begin by selecting a vintage bud vase and assemble your own mini bouquet from a selection of fresh and vibrant summer blooms. Using watercolor, you’ll create a unique still-life painting inspired by your mini bouquet. The class will cover essential watercolor techniques and help you capture the details and natural beauty of flowers.
About the Instructor
J.R. Ramsey is an artist and educator born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She received her BFA from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2023. Her jack-of-all trades ethos means that she's worked in nearly every visual arts medium from metal working to fiber art, though these days you'll most likely find her behind an easel painting.
