Recovery & Replanting
A Community Lecture on Tree Restoration and Planting for the Future
March 21, 2026 from 10 - 11:30 AM
Massey Auditorium at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens

Winter Storm Fern left its mark on Nashville's trees, and on the people who love them. On Tennessee Tree Day, join Cheekwood for a community lecture as we share observations from our own storm recovery and help you navigate what comes next for the trees in your yard.

Drawing on first-hand experience from Cheekwood's storm recovery, Lukas Suzano, District Manager and ISA Certified Arborist, and Eric Berner, ISA Certified Arborist, of Davey Tree join Cheekwood's CEO and Director of Education for a conversation about assessing storm-damaged trees, what to watch for as spring unfolds, and how to choose and site new trees for long-term resilience.

Whether you're mourning a tree you lost, uncertain about one still standing, or ready to plant something new, we invite you to join the discussion.

Included with required timed-entry ticket reservation. Seating is limited so RSVP is required.
