Cheekwood presents this day-long workshop to define and explore some of the cross-curricular educational opportunities that gardens provide for students. Learn about enhancing and reinforcing curriculum with gardens and engage in hands-on, garden-based activities that can be implemented in the classroom. Participants will also see Cheekwood’s botanical gardens through the eyes of a student by taking guided tours of the grounds. Registration fee is $25 and includes a boxed lunch. Teachers will be presented with a certificate of completion after attendance is confirmed.
